Jumeirah Golf Estates

This kitchen replaced an earlier layout that wasn't working for the homeowners.

The brief was to resolve the existing spatial challenges, including an angled wall, while creating a kitchen that supports both daily cooking and regular entertaining.

The design follows a U-configuration with a central island, planned to work with the room’s geometry rather than against it. Fully lacquered cashmere matt cabinetry runs handleless throughout, keeping the visual language clean and allowing the proportions of the space to define the character. Every unit is configured to improve storage and workflow over the previous layout.

The island is finished in Dekton Daze, a Calacatta-informed surface that provides a durable, low-maintenance worktop with preparation space, integrated seating and room for serving. An integrated Dekton sink sits within the island, specified in the same material for a seamless joint between surface and wet zone.

A discreet transition connects the show kitchen to a back kitchen, where additional storage and preparation space handle the heavier demands of cooking, keeping the main kitchen composed and clear. Miele appliances are fully integrated across both zones. A Sanipex Bagno tap in matt black is specified at the main wet zone.

Lighting is layered across task and ambient zones, planned to support the kitchen through different uses across the day.
